Family, friends, and members of the Graceville community are mourning the passing of William “Bill” Morrow, a beloved resident whose life was marked by faith, family, dedication, and service to others. Bill passed away on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at the age of 62, following complications from surgery. His death has left a deep void among those who knew and loved him.

Throughout his life, Bill was known as a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, dependable friend, and respected member of the community. Those who knew him remember a man whose kindness, work ethic, and willingness to help others reflected the values he held close.

Born on October 7, 1963, Bill was the son of Jeannette Morrow and the late John M. Morrow. A lifelong resident of the Graceville area, he developed strong roots in the community he called home. He graduated from Graceville High School with the Class of 1981 and remained connected to the people and places that shaped his life.

Bill’s connection to Graceville extended beyond simply living there. He was someone who took pride in his community and built lasting relationships through his everyday interactions. Friends and neighbors described him as reliable, approachable, and someone who could always be counted on when support was needed.

At the center of Bill’s life was his family. He shared a loving marriage with his wife, Sandra Hunter Morrow, and together they created a life filled with love, commitment, and cherished memories. Bill was a devoted husband who valued the bond they shared and worked hard to provide a strong foundation for his family.

He was also a loving father, grandfather, son, and brother. His family remembers him as a source of encouragement and stability, someone whose presence brought comfort and happiness. Whether spending time at family gatherings, sharing conversations, or enjoying simple moments together, Bill made the people around him feel cared for and appreciated.

Bill is survived by his wife, Sandra; his son, Wesley Dalton Morrow; his mother, Jeannette Morrow; his sister, Anna Morrow Thomas; his stepchildren, Jessica Pugh and Austin Deacon; and his grandchildren, Emma Pugh, Lily Pugh, Ethan Pugh, Hailey Deacon, and James Deacon of Newnan, Georgia. He is also survived by his special cousin, George “Skip” Taylor of Navarre, Florida, as well as extended family members and many friends who will continue to honor his memory.

He was preceded in death by his father, John M. Morrow, and his grandparents, George and Mary Frances Morrow of Graceville and Dewey and Berta B. Peel of Louisville, Alabama.

From an early age, Bill developed a strong interest in trucks, a passion that eventually became a lifelong career in the trucking industry. He took great pride in his work and built a reputation for professionalism, dedication, and dependability. During his career with Johnston Trucking of Brundidge, Alabama, Bill was respected for his commitment and the care he brought to his responsibilities.

His work ethic reflected the qualities that defined him throughout his life — determination, honesty, and perseverance. Whether behind the wheel or spending time with loved ones, Bill approached everything he did with a strong sense of responsibility.

Faith was another important part of Bill’s life. He was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Graceville, where he found fellowship, friendship, and opportunities to serve. His quiet devotion and compassion for others were visible in the way he treated people and lived out his beliefs.

Those who knew Bill will remember him as a man who valued relationships above all else. He had a warm personality, a generous heart, and a genuine appreciation for the people in his life. His stories, laughter, and kindness created memories that will continue to bring comfort to those grieving his loss.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at First Baptist Church of Graceville, with Dr. Naethan Hendrix officiating. Burial will follow at Marvin Chapel Cemetery in Graceville under the direction of James & Lipford Funeral Home.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at James & Lipford Funeral Home. In place of flowers, the family has requested that memorial contributions be made to First Baptist Church of Graceville, P.O. Box 565, Graceville, FL 32440.

As the Graceville community remembers William “Bill” Morrow, many are reflecting on a life defined by love, faith, and service. His legacy will continue through the family he cherished, the friendships he built, and the many lives he touched throughout his 62 years.
